Hey all!
Purdue SAE Aero is having its first callout on Monday, September 12th at 6:15 pm in PHYS 112 and here's why you should consider joining our club:
Who we are:
-
Purdue SAE
Aero aims to give students experience in aircraft design outside their
classes -
The organization
represents Purdue University and competes internationally against other
universities in the SAE Aero Design competition held in the spring - We are participating in the Regular Class
-
We will
design, build, and test an all-electric RC aircraft with the purpose of
carrying the most amount of passengers and payload by the end of this
semester
Who can join:
Purdue SAE Aero is open to all majors. This is great for students who are interested in designing and building aircraft are encouraged to come!
How you can benefit:

Gain
experience in aircraft design and performing trade studies outside of
classes -
Apply your knowledge
outside of classes and excel in areas of propulsion, aerodynamics,
structures, controls, design, and/or manufacturing -
With the new 2017
rules, we have to redesign the whole aircraft for this year's coming
competition: this allows
participating students make lasting contributions and changes
So if you're interested in using what you've learnt in class to build and fly an RC plane, come to our callout!
