Pursuing answers: Implantable device research has potential to improve, save lives
A preeminent research team led by Pedro P. Irazoqui, director of Purdue’s Center for Implantable Devices, associate professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and associate professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is making progress in developing wireless implantable medical devices for treatment of a variety of conditions using wireless networks of nanoelectronic sensors and actuators.
