Weldon School celebrates faculty promotions
Krishna Jayant, the Leslie A. Geddes Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, has been promoted from assistant professor to associate professor. Jayant's research at the intersection of neuroscience, bioelectronics and neural interfaces is advancing technologies to better understand and treat neurological disorders.
Fang Huang, the Vincent P. Reilly Professor of Biomedical Engineering, has been promoted from associate professor to full professor. Huang is internationally recognized for her innovative research in imaging, computational biology and precision medicine, helping to unlock new approaches for understanding and treating disease.
Tae Yoon Kim has been promoted from associate professor to full professor. His research combines engineering and biology to develop cutting-edge technologies that improve our understanding of complex biological systems and human health.
Sharon Miller, clinical professor of biomedical engineering in Indianapolis, has been promoted to full professor. Miller has played an important role in educating and mentoring the next generation of biomedical engineers while strengthening the Weldon School's clinical and educational partnerships.
Promotion through the faculty ranks reflects sustained excellence and significant contributions to research, teaching and service.
