Congratulations Hyowon (Hugh) Lee, an associate professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, for receiving a patent on his intellectual property, “Drug Delivery Device and Method.”

During the 2022 calendar year, Purdue Research Foundation ranked #4 among U.S. universities for patents received from the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. The information was recently published in a report from the National Academy of Inventors.

And congratulations to Yoon Yeo, Associate Department Head and Lillian Barboul Thomas Professor of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy, College of Pharmacy with a courtesy appointment in Biomedical Engineering on her patent, “Process and Composition Matter of Nanoparticle Formulation for Systemic Treatment of Sepsis.”

Congratulations to all Purdue University researchers across all campuses and academic disciplines, who have received 15 patents on their intellectual property from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
