The Fearnot-Laufman-Greatbatch Award is given each year to the BME or IBSc graduate student who gives the best BME summer seminar presentation, as determined by audience member evaluations.

For her presentation entitled "Mapping White Matter Functional Organization Using fMRI," we are pleased to present the 2016 Fearnot-Laufman-Greatbatch Award to Lauren Marussich. Lauren received the highest average overall score (including the highest number of perfect scores), and the highest average score of all 12 evaluation questions. Lauren is an MD/PhD student currently in the second year of her PhD studies under the guidance of Professor Zhongming Liu.
