Ji-Xin Cheng receives a 2014 SPIE Translational Research Best Paper Award
Ji-Xin Cheng, a professor in Purdue University's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Chemistry, has received a 2014 SPIE Translational Research Best Paper Award for his paper, "Spectroscopic imaging unveils the essential role of cholesterol accumulation in cancer proliferation."
The award recognizes "an outstanding contribution in the field of biomedical optics with the potential to change clinical practice and improve the lives of patients," according to SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics.
