Ji-Xin Cheng elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows
Ji-Xin Cheng, a professor in Purdue University's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Chemistry, has been elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows.
The AIMBE College of Fellows represent the top 2% of medical and biological engineers nationwide. Cheng will be inducted into the College of Fellows at AIMBE’s 2014 Annual Event, March 23-25, 2014, in Washington, DC at the National Academy of Sciences.
Founded in 1991, AIMBE comprises experts in academic institutions, private industry, and professional engineering societies and serves to advocate on issues impacting the medical and biological engineering community for the benefit of society.
