You are cordially invited to attend the 11th Semi-Annual Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Presentations and Demonstrations on Friday, May 4th.

Professor Sherry Voytik-Harbin is inviting all friends of the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering to attend this year's senior class design presentations and demonstrations on Friday, May 4th, from 3:30-5:20 p.m. in the Martin C. Jischke Hall of Biomedical Engineering, Room 1001. Immediately following the presentations, teams will host product demonstrations in the Leslie A. Geddes Senior Design Laboratory (MJIS Room 1987). A light snack and beverage service will be available during the design demonstrations.

This semester's presentations include seven unique projects:

  • Hematopoietic cell culture using a three-dimensional bioreactor
  • Biodegradable anti-scar adhesive bandage
  • Anterior cruciate ligament scaffold
  • Biodegradable smart stent
  • Protective planning and scheduling intervention for diabetic care
  • Predicting and mitigating infectious disease spread
  • A tissue engineered cardiac patch
