Trask Innovation Fund to Sponsor Rickus Research

Jenna Rickus, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Agricultural & Biological Engineering has been selected to receive support from the Trask Innovation Fund for her research.
In a letter from Richard O. Buckius, Vice President for Research, and Elizabeth Hart-Wells, Assistant Vice-President and Director of the Office of Technology Commercialization, Dr. Rickus was notified that her proposal entitled "BioShell Islets to Treat Type I Diabetes" was favorably reviewed and selected for six months' funding.
