NSF CAREER Award Goes to Zheng Ouyang

The Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering is proud to announce that Professor Zheng Ouyang has been selected to receive an NSF CAREER Award.

Professor Zheng, who joined the faculty in 2007, also has an appointment in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue.

The NSF CAREER Award will support his research on the development of instrumentation and methods for improving the efficiency of mass spectrometry systems, which will have an immediate impact on the design of miniature mass spectrometry devices for biomedical diagnosis.
