Spring Distinguished Lecture Series
Exposing students to a broad range of ideas, and to the latest in theory and practice, is a cornerstone of Purdue Engineering. Nowhere is this more critical than in the dynamic world of medicine and healthcare. The Distinguished Lecture Series brings a wide range of experts from around the world to explore topics in a seminar setting with students in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering.
The Spring 2008 Distinguished Lecture Series continues and expands this important tradition. This year's speakers include:
Theresa M. Reineke, Assistant Professor of Chemistry/Biomedical Engineering, University of Cincinnati
Yi-Xian Qin, Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopaedics, Stony Brook University
Darrell J. Irvine, Eugene Bell Career Development Professor of Tissue Engineering, Dept. of Biological Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology
