Professor Riyi Shi Invited Speaker at the State of New York Spinal Cord Research Board Meeting
Professor Riyi Shi was the sole invited speaker at the State of New York Spinal Cord Research Board Meeting, held in New York City on December 2nd.
His presentation, entitled "Limiting tissue damage following spinal cord injury: Membrane repair by polyethylene glycol" summarized his ongoing research work here at Purdue University.
In addition to his faculty position in biomedical engineering, Dr. Shi is also an Associate Professor of Neuroscience through the School of Veterinary Medicine.
