The conference, which will be held in Vail, Colorado from June 22-26, is sponsored by the bioengineering division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. It is endorsed by the Biomedical Engineering Society, the United States National Committee on Biomechanics, and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. An outstanding scientific program has been planned with plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and student competitions covering all areas of bioengineering and biomechanics.
