BME Faculty Service Award Presented to Professor Sherry Voytik-Harbin

In recognition of the dedicated service of our faculty members, the school has initiated an Outstanding Biomedical Engineering Faculty Award, which this year has been presented to Professor Sherry Voytik-Harbin.

This award is presented annually to the faculty member who contributes the most to our School in a service role as nominated by his/her peers. The award recognizes the importance of service both within our school and across campus, as well as beyond. The faculty service award is open to all faculty members in the School, excluding the Head.

Professor Voytik-Harbin was selected on the basis of her tireless work on behalf of the School. In addition to teaching the undergraduate laboratory class, she is serving on multiple faculty search committees, spending countless hours trying to attract the brightest and best to Purdue. She is also actively pursuing her own research and mentoring graduate students.
