Professor Ivanisevic Selected as 2004 NASA Faculty Fellow

Professor Albena Ivanisevic hs received notification of her selection, out of 762 applications, as a 2004 NASA Faculty Fellow at Ames Research Center. As a NASA Faculty Fellow, Professor Ivanisevic will spend ten weeks on-site at Ames doing research on development of surface interfaces for genome analysis. Her colleague on the project will be Dr. Viktor Stole.

The Faculty Fellow program is supported jointly by NASA and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The program is intended to: Further the professional knowledge of qualified engineering and science faculty members; Stimulate an exchange of ideas between teaching participants and employees of NASA; Enrich and refresh the research and teaching activities of participants' institutions; and Contribute to the research objectives of the Center.
