Professor Michael R. Ladisch receives Sigma Xi Faculty Research Award

The Purdue Chapter of the Society of Sigma Xi has selected Professor Michael R. Ladisch to receive the 2000 Sigma Xi Faculty Research Award. Sigma Xi is the international honor society of scientific and engineering research. The Purdue Chapter has a longstanding tradition of annually recognizing outstanding research achievement by a member of the Purdue University faculty.
This award was made in recognition of Professor Ladisch's outstanding contributions in the areas of bioseparations, biocatalysis, and biomass conversion.
The presentation of the award was made at the Chapter's Annual Awards and Initiation Banquet on April 20, 2000. Professor Ladisch received a plaque and a cash award.
