AIMBE College of Fellows Inducts Professor George R. Wodicka

The Founding Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Professor George R. Wodicka, has been inducted as a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). The honor was bestowed "for contributions to acoustical phenomena in clinical diagnosis". The induction ceremony took place March 3, 2000 during the AIMBE Ninth Annual Event at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC. The College of Fellows is composed of distinguished individuals representing the different constituencies of the medical and biological engineering community.
