Kim Hicks is the Director and Program Manager in Boeing’s Space and Launch Rapid Space Capability division. In this role, she is responsible for the strategy, schedule, financial and technical execution of franchise spacecraft development programs.
Prior to this position, Hicks served as the Director of Development for the KC-46A Pegasus where she developed strategic roadmaps and Block upgrades for the KC-46A. Hicks has also been the Director for Enterprise Model Based Engineering where she was the core functional leader for new product business capabilities and model based engineering deployment, implementation and integration.
Preceding that role, Hicks served as the Advanced Capabilities Program Manager for Phantom Works. She was responsible for overall program capture and execution as well as future architecture development of a portfolio of capabilities that deliver products and services to a variety of customers.
Hicks began her career at Boeing as an intern on the F-22 program. She came back to Boeing as a participant in the Systems Engineering Rotation Program where her rotation assignments included AEW&C Wedgetail, F-22 and Sea Launch.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University. She received her Master of Science degree in engineering from Purdue University as well.
