MSE assistant professor, Maria Okuniewski (professor by courtesy in Purdue’s School of Nuclear Engineering) is the newest member of the first all-female leadership team for Materials in Nuclear Energy Systems (MiNES). This conference was co-founded by MSE associate professor, Janelle Wharry who served as the general chair of the group in 2019 and continues to be a member of the organizing committee.
