MSE students judge MATHCOUNTS statewide competition for 6 - 8th graders

MSE students Congying Wang, Alex Bruce, Xi Chen, and Matt Binkley volunteered for Indiana’s statewide MATHCOUNTS competition this past Saturday.

Their efforts helped students participating in MATHCOUNTS, a national math enrichment and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement across the United States. The top 10 individual finishers in the event are offered a four-year scholarship, worth $2,000 each year, to study engineering, mathematics or science at Purdue.
