Student Spotlight: Tuhina Saxena

Working in Professor Wenzhuo Wu's lab, she focuses on developing next-generation sensors built from 2D materials; an intersection of industrial engineering, materials science, and human-centered innovation.

Multiple IE's Honored with Seed for Success Acorn Awards

The Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering is proud to announce that several faculty members have been honored with Seed for Success Acorn Awards. The Seed for Success Acorn Award is given to investigators in recognition of their accomplishment in obtaining an external sponsored award of $1 million or more.

2025: Eight Industrial Engineers Among the 38 by 38 Honorees

The 38 by 38 Award celebrates 38 young alumni (38 years old or younger) from Purdue's College of Engineering who have shown accelerated professional success and meaningful impact. This year's class includes an exceptional set of eight graduates from the Industrial Engineering program each now making waves in diverse industries, from tech and data to entrepreneurship and corporate leadership.

Kenley Awarded INCOSE's Highest Honor

For nearly 30 years, Charles “Bob” Kenley, Professor of Practice at the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering, has been building bridges, connecting disciplines, fostering communities, and shaping how the world approaches complex engineering challenges through systems thinking. His decades of dedication to advancing the field have now earned him the International Council on Systems Engineering's (INCOSE) highest honor: the Founder's Award.
