On April 1 the Office of Global Engineering Programs hosted an exposition for the Innovation for International Development projects conducted by students and faculty.

On April 1 the Office of Global Engineering Programs hosted an exposition for the Innovation for International Development projects conducted by students and faculty. Experts in food security and global health met for panel discussions and keynote addresses with the goal of alleviating hardships such as extreme poverty, hunger, lack of safe water, and energy production.

Panelists included representatives from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Save the Children, Catholic Relief Services, Engineering for Change, the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance, the 2009 World Food Prize Laureate, Indiana University's Simon Cancer Center and School of Medicine, and the Regenstrief Institute.
