Job Corner with Ms. Whelton, PE

What a busy couple of weeks with IR!  There are still more career fairs happening in the fall that you should attend.  First is the CE Career Fair.

Generally there are around 40 companies listed as looking for environmentally focused employees at the CE Career Fair.  Usually the companies at this career fair are mainly consulting focused. More details are given below.  This career fair will also be hybrid over two days.  Please register! Registering will most likely let you know when any appointments open.

CE Career Fair

Co Rec
Virtual
Tuesday October 18th

They haven’t closed registration yet for the virtual portion of the fair, so nothing is posted at the moment.  I will update you as I find out more.  I will say that the in-person fair is full and has been full for some time.  I highly suggest you plan to attend in person since companies love to meet you (and its good for you to make that personal connection).

There will also be informational sessions/seminars on Wednesday October 12 from 5-9pm but they aren’t posted yet.

The College of Agriculture Fall Career Fair is another career fair you may want to attend.  It is also completely full (employer wise).  There may be more opportunities with agricultural companies and on the ecological side of things.  This is generally the only fair the Peace Corps attends on campus.  Other than the location and date/time below there is no additional information yet posted for this fair.
