OGSPS Competition 

Three Minute Thesis (3MT)
Three Minute Thesis is a communication competition that challenges grad students and scholars to present their research in 3 minutes or less using only one visual aid.
 
The deadline for faculty to submit student nominations for Three Minute Thesis is Friday, February 7. Faculty nominations are not a requirement for student/scholar submissions. Students and scholars interested in competing in 3MT must submit their materials through this survey by 11:59 pm on March 3rd.
 
Awards:
  • 1st place - $5,000
  • 2nd place - $3,000
  • People’s Choice - $2,000
 
Say It In 6 (SII6)
Say It In 6 is a competition that challenges grad students/scholars to tell their research story with only one picture using a six-word caption. Students and scholars interested in competing should submit their materials through this survey by 11:59 pm Friday, February 21.
 
Awards:
  • 1st place - $1,000
  • 2nd place - $500
  • People’s Choice - $500
