Intern with Intel's iCDG (intel Communications and Devices Group)

Description

You will be part of the Next Generation and Standards (NGS) within Intel's iCDG (intel Communications and Devices Group) to develop simulation and system performance evaluation tools to evaluate and study various wireless network, protocols and cross layer design. The position requires solid understanding of wireless communication principles in particular in MAC and network layers protocols. Knowledge of PHY layer is an asset. The candidate must be a creative and self-motivated problem solver. Knowledge in wireless systems such as 3GPP, WiMAX, WiFi and 3GPP2 is an asset. NGS is a team responsible for wireless standards in Intel. 

The responsibilities include (and not necessarily limited to): 
-Developing wireless system, protocols and network simulation tools 
-Evaluate performance of various wireless network, protocols, cross layer design 
-Provide recommendations on wireless network, protocols, cross layer design enhancements

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
