Florida Polytechnic University is the newest member of the State University System of Florida and Florida's only public university dedicated to applied learning and research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Located in Lakeland along Central Florida's I-4 High Tech Corridor, Florida Poly was created to be both a rigorous academic institution and a powerful resource for high-tech industries. The University opened its doors August 25, 2014 welcoming an Inaugural Class of 554 freshmen, transfer, and graduate students.

As we prepare for a growing student population and expanding research opportunities in our second academic year, we are hiring additional faculty at all levels. We are looking for experienced researchers as well as recent PhD graduates who excel in technology and engineering.
