Full-Time Tenure-Track Faculty Position
Electromechanical Engineering Technology Department
Cal Poly Pomona
The Electromechanical Engineering Technology Department invites applications at the Assistant Professor level for a tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2024/Fall semester to teach a broad range of courses in Electromechanical Engineering Technology with primary responsibility in one or more of the following areas:
- Electromechanical systems
- Fluids/thermal systems/HVAC
A Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely aligned field from an accredited university is re quired by the date of appointment. Commitment to Inclusive Excellence and Student Success is required. Demonstrated ability to provide handshands-on education in a multidisciplinary and diverse environment, excellent oral and written communication skills, a strstrong interest in curriculum and laboratory development in our B.S. and future M.S. programs, pursuing grants, and supervising student research are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and industrial experience.
Opportunities for research, consulting, and summer employment in industry and/or Government research centers are available in Southern California.
