IBM PhD Fellowship - Nomination Requests Due Feb. 10:
 
 
PhD Students who are interested in applying must complete the IBM PhD Fellowship Nominee Request form, which asks for the following documents from the student: 
  • Student's CV
  • IBM Focus Area that student's research pertains to
  • Student's research project proposal, which includes four parts: (1) Research Question or Hypothesis, (2) Methodology, (3) Analysis Strategy, and (4) Impact of potential results, and any risks or challenges: Character limit: 1950
  • Faculty advisor's "evaluation of student" document: Character limit: 1950
  • Student's career plans and accomplishments document: character limit 950
  • (Optional) Names and email addresses of two IBM colleagues, if any, who may have significant technical familiarity with the student or the student's area of interest

Selected nominees will be required to obtain a supporting statement from their department head.                                          

Nomination requests are due Friday, February 10 at 5 pm.
