Acquisition and Industrial Security: STEM Internships and Postdoctoral Research
Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security: University of Maryland; College Park, Maryland
Description
These positions are with the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS) at the University of Maryland. ARLIS is the University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) of the United States Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)). These are paid positions with flexible start and end dates and are open to master’s students, Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral researchers. Because Acquisition and Industry Security are complex, interdisciplinary problems, these internships are open to a wide variety of majors and will give interns an opportunity to work directly with mission-critical problems and experience the excitement of working directly in intelligence and security spaces, tackling problems from different angles. Current opportunities exist for interns in STEM fields to explore and gain meaningful work experience related to the intelligence and security of manufacturing technology and supply chains.
