SDN Network Systems Engineering Department in AT&T Labs is looking for a summer intern to work on innovative initiatives to design and develop software solutions to optimize performance, resiliency, resource consumption in cloud deployment of virtualized network functions for wireless services. The incumbent will do modeling, software design, analytics using ML/AI techniques and development. The ideal candidate will  be a graduate student (MS/Ph.D in EE/CS) with experience in Java, python and familiar with core libraries – FLASK, scikit,  sklearn etc and with statistical methods knowledge including Machine Learning techniques, regression analysis, classification and NLP. A candidate with knowledge of SDN, NFV, OpenStack and experience with Kubernetes and container deployments in public cloud environments like Azure, AWS etc is preferred.
