A Purdue Chemical Engineering graduate student received the second place poster award at the annual Chicago Catalysis Club Spring Symposium this year.

John Di Iorio, a second year graduate student from Seattle, Washington, earned the second place poster award for his research about the synthesis and characterization of zeolite catalysts used to control emissions from diesel automotive exhaust systems.

John is advised by Assistant Professor Rajamani Gounder.
