Nancy Ho, founder and president of Green Tech America Inc. and a research professor emerita in the School of Chemical Engineering, will receive the National Medal of Technology and Innovation from President Barack Obama in 2016.

John Klier (MS ’86, PhD ’89) was named Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, effective October 25, 2015.
