Three recent alumni of our School received National Science Foundation Career Awards in 2010. While studying for their PhD at Purdue, they were all advised by Professor Doraiswami Ramkrishna.

• Tanmay Lele (PhD 2002), Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Florida (co-advised by Jochen Lauterbach)
• Jamey D. Young (PhD 2005), Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Vanderbilt University; Jamey is also Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering as well as Assistant Professor of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics.
