Professor Neal Houze Receives ConocoPhillips Faculty Award

Professor Neal Houze has been selected as one of the 10 faculty members in the US to receive the 2009-10 ConocoPhillips Faculty Award.

Professor Neal Houze has been selected as one of the 10 faculty members in the US to receive the 2009-10 ConocoPhillips Faculty Award.

The ConocoPhillips Faculty Program is designed to build long-term, strategic relationships with university faculty to support ConocoPhillips recruiting programs and to identify top students within the faculty members' academic area.  The program includes several targeted disciplines: petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, geosciences, finance, accounting, information systems, energy management and commercial.
 
The award is $25,000 for the 2009-10 academic year, with the potential to renew for one more year. The award is to be used in support of faculty teaching objectives, faculty learning opportunities, faculty involvement with student programs, and expenses for research and lab work.
