Future Students

The School of Aeronautics and Astronautics offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in aeronautical and astronautical engineering. Aeronautics covers atmospheric flight, while astronautics is concerned with flight in space. Our alumni have made significant contributions to both fields in academics, government, and private industry. Of the 25 Purdue graduates who have become astronauts, 16 have been graduates of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
