Raiford recently retired after a 39-year career with Northrop Grumman. His job assignments encompassed positions of increasing responsibility within projects/programs, management and senior leadership. These include aeronautical engineering R&D, computational fluid dynamics design and analysis, project engineering, wind tunnel and flight testing, program management, strategic planning, weapon systems logistics, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management. He received a Bachelor of Science from Purdue in aeronautical and astronautical engineering and a master's from the University of S. California in Aerospace Engineering. He is an AIAA Associate Fellow and received the Purdue Outstanding Aerospace Engineer award in 2018.
