Ocularis Camera Administration - Adding a user to cameras

This KB will show how to add a new user to allow viewing cameras through the Ocularis client.

1. Get the user's username and confirm that they have authorization for the cameras that are requested. Multiple cameras are grouped together, so adding a user will add them to all of the cameras in the group.  You can always look up a user's username in ph:
   
   
2. Log into the Ocularis Administrator software. You'll need to log in with your admin acount.
3. Pick the Users/Privileges tab at the top, and search for the camera under Groups. Here, I'm adding Jill to the EEE POTR camera, so I searched to find the POTR group.  Click on the correct group name, and the "New User" button.
   
   
   
   
4. Select "Windows Auth" for the type, and enter "boilerad\$USERNAME" for their username.  Then click "Add". 
   
   
   
   
5. That's it!
