Using MS Web Folders with Zope

Web folders provide an easy way for you to view files and folders on Web servers.

You can drag and drop files and folders to and from a Web server just as you would in Windows Explorer. You can also move, create, rename, and delete files and folders within a web folder.

Notice: Web Folders were designed by Microsoft for use with Microsoft's Web Server IIS. Things such as file and folder capitalization can occasionally cause unexpected problems. If you plan to make heavy use of the web cluster from a windows /Engr/ECN/Support/KB/Docs/UsingMSWebFoldersWit/desktop it is recommended that you use Web Drive.

Creating a Web Folder

  1. Open My Network Places (located on the /Engr/ECN/Support/KB/Docs/UsingMSWebFoldersWit/desktop)
    Windows Desktop
  2. Double-click Add Network Place.
