Using Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro on GoRemote
- Before accessing GoRemote, you will need to save or copy the PDF you want to work with on your R: drive.
-
Open your web browser and go to http://goremote.itap.purdue.edu. Login using your Purdue username and password.
If you see anything in the Message Center related to the Citrix client, please contact your ECN site via the trouble report at https://engineering.purdue.edu/ECN/Support/TroubleReport/ -
After logging in, you will see a large number of icons under the Applications title. Click on "Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro."
-
You may see a prompt like the one below. Click OK to continue to Adobe Acrobat 8.
- Go to File -> Open and select the drive labeled with "username on 'ICS Home Directory Server" where username is your Purdue login. This drive is equivalent to your R: drive on your local ECN machine. You can now edit and save PDFs on that drive.
