Receiving an 'Event not Found' Error Message

You may encounter this error while executing a Unix script:

0: Event not found

This error comes from your shell (such as .cshrc. To remedy it, try changing the top line of the script to:

csh: "#!/bin/csh -f"
ksh: "#!/bin/ksh -f"

This will cause the script to not read your startup shell file (.cshrc, .kshrc, etc.).
