Reading mail with mailtool

To open the mailtool, click the mail icon on the CDE Taskbar. When you open mailtool, all the messages in your mailbox will be displayed in a scrollable window. The new messages will be signified by an "N" in the left margin of the window and the already read ones will have no tag associated with them.

To read a message (new or old) click onto the line of the message you want to read. A box will outline your selection and a window with the message in it will appear. You can use the scroll bars to read parts of the message that don't appear in the window. To remove the window, double click onto the upper left corner of the window and it will close.
