Printing to MSEE 189 imageRUNNERs

In August 2008, the MSEE 189 lab printers will be upgraded to Canon imageRUNNER 7095 printers.  The printer names and IP addresses will not change from the following. 

• ms189ch1 -- 128.46.209.78
• ms189ch2 -- 128.46.209.79

The drivers for the Canon imageRUNNER 7095 in MSEE 189 can be found here.  Download the driver and save it in a location you will remember (i.e. C:\Canon).  Go to this location, double-click the file and extract the files to the same folder.

To install the printers, follow the directions for TCP/IP Printing in Windows.  On Step 11 of these directions, click "Have Disk" and choose the folder where you extracted the driver file.

If you already have the printers installed, simply go to the printer properties and update the drivers, pointing it to the location that you extracted the downloaded file to.  You should then be able to choose the Canon iR 7095 driver from the list.  If you need further assistance to install these printers, please contact esite@ecn.purdue.edu.
