Initializing Filemaker Pro on SMS Client Machines

Before using Filemaker Pro with a Filemaker Pro Server, you must follow these steps.

1. Open FileMaker Pro.  When prompted by the Filemaker Pro New Database dialog box, click cancel.
2. Go to the edit column of the menu bar and select preferences and application.
3. In the Application Preferences dialog box, on the general tab, in the network protocol field, select TCP/IP.
4. Click done and okay.
5. Exit Filemaker Pro. 

Normal operation is available when Filemaker Pro is restarted. At the end, user may perform this task.
