ICA Client Setup Instructions

Citrix Client Configuration for Windows Clients

ECN WTS servers have been upgraded to Windows 2000 and Citrix Metaframe XP. Only ECN public applications will be available. Applications will appear as a local application running on your desktop. The complete remote desktop is not available. In order to connect to ECN public applications, you must configure the ICA client as follows. This configuration requires Citrix Client 6.01.963 or better.

 

Start Program Neighborhood.

Double click “Application Set Manager.”

 

Double click “Find New Application Set”.

Select “Local Area Network” on Campus, “Wide Area Network” if off Campus.

Click Next.

Click “Server Location”

Select “TCP/IP + HTTP”

Click Add, Enter “chme-wts.ecn.purdue.edu”, click OK.

Click Add, Enter “wts.ecn.purdue.edu”, click OK

Click OK.

Select “ECN Farm”, Enter “ECN Farm (Your Logon ID), Click Next.

Apply shown settings. Click Next.

Click Next.

Double Click “ECN Farm (Logon ID).

Enter Logon ID, Password, and ECN for domain.

Double Click “ECN Public Applications”

Currently supported ECN Public Applications will be displayed. Double Click desired application.

Should you need an application which is not published, please submit a request to info-nt@ecn.purdue.edu.  We will evaluate your request and either publish the application, or let you know why we cannot do so.
