How to collect logs for AppsAnywhere

If following a reboot of the computer, and the issues with AppsAnywhere are still ocurring, please collect the logs from the follow locations and zip them up as an attachment to in an email.

 

AppsAnywhere Client

 

Windows

The AppsAnywhere Client validation log for each user can be found in the following directory on client machines: 

 

%localappdata%\software2\AppsAnywhere\Log\S2HubTracelog.log

A powershell script when run as administrator can gather the necessary event logs and save them to a .csv file.  The script is in the attached zip file AppsAnywhere_Export_Client_Events.zip and once extracted run the file AppsAnywhere_Export_Client_Events.ps1 in powershell as an administrator. 

 

MacOS

The AppsAnywhere Client validation log on MacOS can be found in either of these 2 locations:

~/Library/Logs/Software2/com.s2.uk.AppsAnywhere<date>.log 

or

/Users/username/Library/Logs/Software2/com.s2.uk.AppsAnywhere<date>.log 

 

Cloudpaging Player

These logs are only located on Windows computers.

C:\ProgramData\Endeavors Technologies\StreamingCore\Log\StreamingCore.log

 

Parallels Client

Logs for the parallels client can be found at the locations in the following KB: https://kb.parallels.com/en/124703
