Jennifer Graves currently leads Graves Technologies and its subsidiaries as Chief Executive Officer & President, serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Mesa, Ariz. Chamber of Commerce, is a senior IEEEE member and was recently asked to join Purdue’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory board.
Graves Technologies, formerly known as GECO Inc. and co-founded by Jennifer in 1995, provides computer hardware, software and systems design for aerospace, industrial and commercial customers. Under Jennifer’s leadership, Graves Technologies became a leading provider of safe, trusted, and affordable avionics, with products including avionics displays, Ethernet routers, Mission Computers, unmanned aircraft systems and other peripheral avionics and ground support products. The company’s computer, electrical, software, mechanical and manufacturing engineers design and manufacture complex, AS9100 safety critical systems that are proven extremely reliable operating in very harsh environmental and electromagnetic environments. Jennifer sold the Avionics portion of the business in 2019 to Mercury Systems (NASDAQ: MRCY).
Prior to her employment at GECO, Jennifer designed and integrated avionics with The Boeing Company in Mesa, Ariz., from 1989 through 2000. Jennifer held numerous key positions at Boeing, including site subject matter expert for cockpit displays and IPT lead for the Improved Data Modem (IDM), recognized as the first digital communications technology in U.S. Army aircraft.
Between 1986 and 1989, Jennifer was employed at Honeywell in Albuquerque, N.M., as an avionics hardware designer where she designed circuit card assemblies and application-specific integrated circuits for military avionics applications.
