Grad Tech Writing Course: Spring and Summer

 

Our Senior Lecturer, Case Thompkins, has been offering a graduate technical writing course for Civil students for the last couple years (see attached file for more details).

 

The course is based on one a coure Case took in graduate school and focuses on helping graduate students prepare their research papers for publication. The course has been offered to civil graduates, but there has been interest outside of Civil,.  He is most familiar with the research documentation in Civil Engineering, the practices of editing and revising for publication share priorities across engineering disciplines. 

 

Residential students are welcome to enroll in the course.  He offers it in spring (CE 597) and summer (CE 497).
