Faculty Open Position at Duke University
The Duke University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering is seeking applicants for multiple faculty positions, with a preference for hiring at the Assistant Professor level.
Early-career researchers engaged in innovative work focused on the development and use of artificial intelligence (AI) for devices and systems, as well as devices and systems for real-world AI are encouraged to apply. Particularly, we are interested in candidates specializing in (1) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), (2) Computer Engineering -- AI for computing systems and computing for AI, and (3) Microelectronic Materials, Devices and Hardware.

Duke’s Electrical and Computer Engineering research enables creative, applicable solutions to pressing challenges in human health, security, and autonomy, and new strides in fundamental scientific exploration and discovery. Our faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for research in areas including AI/ML, sensing & imaging, trustworthy computing, metamaterials, quantum computing, and nanoelectronic materials & devices. Government and industry organizations are valuable partners at Duke ECE, and our entrepreneurial spirit manifests itself in a growing portfolio of companies spun off from our research.
