Pathway to PhD Workshop and Mentor Opportunity
The IoT4Ag Pathway to PhD Program (PPP) is a free virtual workshop and mentoring program designed to help students navigate the PhD application process. Participants will learn what makes a strong graduate school and fellowship application, get guidance on personal and research statements, and be matched with a current PhD student, postdoc, or faculty mentor for individualized feedback and mentorship.
2026 Program Details
- Virtual workshop: Saturday, October 17, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM ET
- Mentorship: Continues through November 15
- Cost: Free
- Eligibility: U.S. citizens and permanent residents
- Who should apply: Undergraduate and master’s students interested in pursuing PhD programs in engineering, agricultural science, or related disciplines, particularly students interested in IoT and agricultural applications
This is especially useful for students actively preparing PhD or fellowship applications this fall; or students who want to be ready for applying next year.
