NTWL Outreach at Purdue
My name is Steve Brelage, I am a representative of Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL). NTWL is responsible for the test and evaluation of all Navy and Marine Corps aircraft and systems, from helicopters, fighter aircraft, big wing aircraft, and unmanned air systems. We are located in Patuxent River, Maryland. You will often hear Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) when hearing about NTWL, these are the larger commands that we fall under, the mission of NAVAIR is to provide full life-cycle support of naval aviation aircraft, weapons and systems. As civilian employees we get the great opportunity to support this mission!
I’m reaching out to pass along an opportunity for the ECE community to learn about Flight Test Engineering roles with NTWL.
As we’ve done over the past few semesters, we’re planning to hold an information session at Purdue to talk about the Flight Test Engineering roles within Naval Test Wing Atlantic. Further, we’re going to be setup in the atrium of the Armstrong building for the day to talk with students between classes. Both of these activities are setup for September 9th, 2026. The attached flyer includes all of the details and I’ve also copied them below. Please pass the flyer along to your organization, all are welcome!
